WeLReN is a multidisciplinary network of primary care professionals and practices interested in primary care research. It aims to:

• Produce high quality research relevant to practitioners, the public, services and organisations in primary care

• Build primary care research capacity

• To develop a culture of reflection and inquiry throughout primary health care

• Maintain an infrastructure of multi-disciplinary facilitation and communication

• Agree contracts with partner agencies and pathways between their work  programmes

• Provide information about research activities to local partners
